Ruth Frangakis (Le Roux)
My history briefly:
I was a student at BI 1971-1972. In 1973 Jan and I got married and went to Israel, worked on a kibbutz during Yom Kippur war. God gave us favour and could witness to the Jews (our 1st love of nations). In all we stayed in Israel for 2+1/4yrs.
In 1979-80 we stayed in France for 6 months (with our 3 daughters) also were involved with evangelism.
From 1980 until now we have been living in a small town, Sannieshof, NW where Jan was teaching Technical Drawings at the High School until 1998, and where we also raised our 3 daughters and 2 sons.
Jan then resigned to be involved full time again in mission work in Botswana, which we are still involved with. Still living in Sannieshof, the border is close by to work in the southern districts of Botswana, as well as being very involved in the surrounding villages in the North west.
While in teaching, we did many short-term outreaches to a number of countries.
We give all glory and praise to our Almighty Heavenly Father for His faithfulness and provision throughout all the years.
Yours in Christ Jesus our Lord,
Ruth le Roux (nee Frangakis)
