Yvonne Stofberg (1960-1961) in Herts, England writes: (Quoted from “Newsline, Oct 2003)
Warm greetings to each one of you. I hope the past year has been a good one for you. Thank you to all who have been in touch during that period.
Here, the LORD has been continuing His potter’s work on my life. Outward circumstances have not changed greatly, but within myself there has been great improvement in health and resilience. For this I am so grateful. The Holy Spirit has continued to bring to life Scriptures read so often before with the wonderful fresh impact of a truth not ‘seen’ in quite such clarity before.
These times are rich with the presence of the Lord and the leading of the Holy Spirit as we intercede concerning whatever He leads us to focus on. There are many encouragements, and our faith and expectation grows little by little.
I guess Psalm 103: 1-5 about says it all, and I pray that each of you will find this so in the year ahead.
